"A welcoming community center where all can share and grow through the ministries of St. Ludmila Catholic Church."
In the fall of 2019, St. Ludmila compiled a team aptly called Buildings and Grounds to perform two functions: evaluate the current facilities versus building something new. The team is made up of engineers, executive project management, construction business owner, Parish youth, HVAC expert, banking and other disciplines. The team completed a full evaluation of the current structures that dated from the 1950's and 1960's. The evaluation took into consideration function of space, cost to update and maintain equipment, efficiency to operate and cost to bring up to current standards. After the evaluation, it was determined that it would cost approximately $9 million dollars to maintain the buildings and attempt to bring them up to today's standards. The buildings would not meet the vision or future needs for our Parish.
O loving God, we give you thanks for the gifts and blessings you have bestowed upon St. Ludmila Catholic Church over the past 100 years. We recognize the sacrifices of the Notre Dame Sisters who have educated our youth. The ordained priests and deacons who celebrated our sacraments. THe staff, volunteers and parishioners who faithfully have instilled the faith in their families. We ask that you open the hearts of this community, that we may respond to the needs of Your Church by being generous stewards of the gifts You have entrusted to us. We ask that You bless our campaign, through Jesus CHrist, who is our Lord, forever and ever. Amen.
